LESLIE AND ALICE, 1907. Launching of a new friendship sloop

Ou comment Walter Davis, pêcheur de homards à Monhegan, commanda un friendship sloop à Albion Morse de Pleasant Point, à Cushing, suivant les lignes d'un bateau jouet que ce même charpentier avait construit pour son fils Ferdinand.
Ce sloop était de fait si bon marcheur qu'Albion Morse en fit encore trois sur le même modèle. Un pour Stonington, un pour Vinalhaven, et le troisième pour Port Clyde.
